The Concert Boy 1100 was a 5-waveband radio manufactured by the Grundig Corporation, and available in 1975/76. It had concert-hall sound quality due to the Grundig 7-inch elliptical Superphon loudspeaker, which the engineers designed especially for this radio.  Mains or battery operation, Side-mounted tuning control, Volume, bass, and treble controls, Sockets for headphone and external speaker.  DIN socket for additional connectivity, 16 inches × 8 ¾ inches × 3 ½ inches
