Gerry Wells a collector who took things to the extreme. He loved all things electrical when he was a kid and dabbled in his shed with wireless radios. He started to collect all the radios that everyone else was chucking out into skips and dumps around his home town. He lovingly restored them and began a collection that would last a lifetime.
80-year-old collector Gerry Wells loves old radios so much he has filled every nook and cranny of every room in his home with the devices. The house is now the country’s only working wireless radio museum.
The museum now consists of 13 rooms covered top-to-toe in radios, televisions, speakers and radiograms from the dawn of radio up to the last valve model ever made.
