Tara Sargant, Known online as Tara Jane, launched a bikini brand in 2015, Only 21 at the time saved $10,000 for holiday. But instead she designed a swimwear range which is now valued at $3 million.
Tara started the now global brand in her parents laundry back in 2015, before an influx of Instagram influencers began spruiking swimsuits online. Three years later and her resort collection is preparing to showcase at Miami Swim Week – the holy grail arena for all things Brazillian bottoms and triangle tops.
Each bikini and swimsuit is handmade in Bali with premium quality fabrics, to ensure a unique standard of sophistication.
‘My sole priority has always been to produce premium quality swimwear that complements all body shapes and sizes,’ she explained. Australian plus-size model Bree Warren favouring the brand as well as former Victoria’s Secret angel Rosie Huntington-Whitely.
With more than 200,000 social media followers and number of business owners support, it was only a matter of time until the brand went transatlantic.
